To be honest, ive just ran out patience with Keith Ryder now. I strongly believe he hasnt got the money to complete the deal, i thinks its time for us all to just wait and see what BY has to say next. I do believe there is a plan B however. My perfect plan b would be Mo Chaudry but thats just my general opinion. I know hes had his chances before but i was impressed with his plans what he set out before and at the end of the day, he is a successful businessman worth 60 million pounds. Whether you like it or not, Mo Chaudry is ideal for the club. However, i will support any new owner who comes in!

Mo Chaudry came in and made an offer to buy the club when the old board were in charge. He looked sincere and may have done a good job. But the failed takeover left him hanging in the media spotlight for too long fighting too many opponents. It is difficult to overcome that now as views about him have polarised amongst the fans and the undue criticism he was given has left him annoyed with people he needs to ultimately work with if he did take over. The purity of his vision of him leading Port Vale has been lost.

Keith ryder never had the funds from the start of his campaign to buy the club, after trying and failing to negotiate with other investors that would then end the takeover and is the reason that many fans fans have stalled to get their season tickets, but does mean the fans have another chance to stick together and help the club through what micky qouted as "the worst spell the club has been in".

I agree b.y. should have made some sort of statement, he knew at the sc meeting what kr's personal problem was but was not prepared to disclose it, i would imagine now he has pulled out[understandably imo] someone will officially say that kr is no longer im the running.

No doubt if/when he pulls out it will be the fans fault.

Mo WILL NOT be the next owner of PVFC and nor will Ryder,i dont know anything but it is now my gut instinct,so it looks like we have to just forget about Ryder and move on with plan b,if there really is a plan b of course.

If we make a good start to the season and get decent gates, investors will start to take notice of a high-flying, debt-free club with an experienced manager and loads of potential.

Bumped into somebody connected to the club in burslem last night and he told me that ryder had been fronting the deal for an other or others connected to the ameriturf deal , dont know how true this is but at the first friendly he told me the ryder deal was not going to happen then .
That narrows it down a bit.

In todays market 1.3m for a decent sized club with no debt is nothing really,so surely somebody should think we are worth a punt.

The only reason we are in this mess in my book is down to the Administrators and whoever appointed them having seen the shambles of a job they made last time.

They obviousley did very little homework on KR in my veiw , looking at a snapshot of bank statements is a joke - thorough research with places like Companies house for a start is the very least you need to do.

As for BY and that last meeting with SG - having watched the whole meeting he had an easy ride offering very little excuses, but making patronising comments like "people dont understand whats involved in running a business in Admin" - well I have my own business and know a thing or 2 about how you operate - its plain to me BY and co are fully resonsible for this debacle ref KR choice and I have little confidence they will do any better with this alleged queue of potential investors based on whats gone on to date.
