Never played Chelsea in all my 63 years of supporting the club. Hopefully 3rd round draw FA cup🤞

Never played Chelsea in the Cup, last league game, of 14, in 1929.

No mate, Barry’s not my brother, Barry lives in Kewdale just outside Perth.

Personally want DM do well so no agenda to want him fired after only one really bad defeat .

Out of his 19 league games in charge we have failed to score in 12 of them .

How can you give yourselves a chance in games well scoring will help .

That suggests to me the formation doesn't work ,how often do you see the wing backs hitting the byline ,how negative is passing the ball but not travelling at any speed or with any bravery bringing it out if 3 at the backs so good then why are we not creating chances with positive play from two of them .

Overall the best I saw Vale defend last season was v Lincoln away with Ojo and Cass back there forget the other 2 who played that day but even with 10 men we defended relatively well and for one lapse would have won .

Clark played Walker back there and that's when we were really good with Hall .

So maybe try something different and remember its the initial pass what gets the space for the better players to do there thing.

You will never convince me otherwise .

Bring on Doncaster Hanley spoons  at 10 quick coke as working that night and go see what I hope a team full of spirit and excellence

I am concerned about the manager’s continued idea of three at the back with Hall likely to be out and Smith isn’t good enough for me and you can’t play hart as a central defender but I can’t be there due to a commitment to lecture at Wiltonfest on Saturday but as a loyal supporter I hope I am wrong

Why don't you think Smith is good enough? Regular in our last promotion side.

I'd agree at L1 he's looked poor but surely at L2 he's a decent defender?

I think we will lose narrowly 1 nil or 2 1. Think they will be a good side that will finish in the top 3. They have a very good manager in mccann and a more settled squad. Doncaster have just basically got continue what they were doing second half of last season as I think they won something like 10 in a row. As for us we got 13 new players, some of which are either coming back from injury or not quite match fit yet plus players need to gel. Byers, chislett and stockley are quality players but I don't think there fit enough to start games yet. I know chislett has started the last 2 games but he looks well off it at the moment to me. I wouldn't be surprised if we do similar to what Doncaster did last season where they were around 18th at Christmas then end up top 7, wether being 18th at Christmas keeps Moore in a job though remains to be seen.

Not quite sure what to make of that last sentence.  Are you saying you’ll have a line to help you before your night shift Saturday or to help after your night shift Friday?

16 league games with either Uche or Loft up front, even worse both!!. How can you refer to last season failing to score with those pair? 😂😂

Sounds positive news surrounding Hall and a miraculous recovery from Hart.

Important game I feel, for me although obviously want the 3 points, I want to see a perforamnce where if we don't win, even if a defeat or draw, we see positives and can see we are heading the right way.  Early days in the season but I am worried that this safety first approach will not get the best out of the many attacking talents we have.  For me we have to change formation and go with a back 4, mine would be John, Heneghan, Hall and possibly Grant, if not then Shorrock.

Yes it is only 3 games in but we are literally creating nothing from open play, 22nd in expected goals and it needs to change.  I know we have signed a lot of players but every team in league 2 is like that these days, gone are the days of signing 2 or 3 players during the close season.  Apart from Harrogate who signed 4, the next lowest number of signings by a club was 9 so most clubs have virtual new teams.

I really hope Moore succeeds and he was my choice when Crosby got sacked but so far his tactics, use of subs have been really poor, we went down last season with a whimper and was a free hit for him.  Fleetwood and Cheltenham were in far worse positions than us under Clarke and Adam but went down fighting.  After last Saturday's perforamce, just want to see us on the front foot, take the game to the opposition and show a bit of fight.

Ha ha thought someone would misinterpret it ,I meant a coke cola lol ,no not working now 2 nights off swapped me 2 nights off this this week from Tues/Wednesday off to Thurs/Fri off,  and lad who is Vale mad and other lad who have been every game thus far this season  are meeting at Weatherspoons early sat with early kick off and I thought sod it ill join them for a catch up and chat before game while they drink themselves silly but me no thanks occasionally I will but mostly I won't.

Whilst I'm sure Doncaster ought to be decent they've beaten 2 of the bottom 3 and lost convincingly at Newport.

We can beat these of that there's no doubt. We just need to turn up for once on tv.

Literally nobody here has asked for him to be sacked. There's a big difference between not believing in a manager and actually wanting him gone. Personally, all I have said is that he's yet to show me has has changed for the better this season early on. Still the same tactics and formation that didn't work last season, and the same few characters here can't handle it and throw their toys out of their prams. Alien Tit or whatever his name is. WV, the fella that thinks I support half the football clubs in England...

People keep going on about injuries and some players not at full fitness, but aren't we supposed to have a very strong squad this season? The team we put out should still have been good enough to beat Tranmere at home, and good enough to not get spanked by Barrow.
