Go get Adams!

I think he'll be sacked if United go down. How many managers have stayed in charge of relegated clubs in the past 10 years? Doesn't happen. Besides, he's nearly had 5 months to turn results around and it's not happened.

I would take him back in a heartbeat.

Adams stayed at Leicester when they were relegated from the Prem, took them back up the next season, with Admin and a transfer embargo thrown in.

Knows the players, what is needed, why sack him?

For those who don't want him back who would you have????? only really good manager since Rudge, how many poor managers are we going to have before we find a good manager. And don't go on about the board, if anyone else takes over they have still got to find that good manager. I think he will be sacked at the end of the season but will be surprised if he does come back to the Vale.

The attitude of the fans often has a massive influence on managerial decisions. Leicester were understanding and believed they had seen enough to be hopeful under Adams for another season. However, that is a stark contrast to the emotions which SU fans associate with his current tenure. I think the SU board will address the concerns of their fans and sack Adams if they are relegated.

as stated a few times. Adams made me proud to wear the badge of my home town club. He made everyone at the club perform at their best, players, fans and officials. I see no reason for not having him back. Mickey make this your club again.

These Mickey "half a job" Adams threads are definately good for a laugh-

Vale rescued a Manager from the ever growing scrapheap of sacked failed has beens and gave him a chance to revive his street cred - he was on the way to acheiving that when his so-called "boyhood Club" offered him more money to "jump ship" - he moved so fast there were scorch marks on the Vale carpark.

Hes lost any respect with me which was building as the team progressed - personally as I said before when he left - I hope both him and the Blades get what they deserve come May this year. No sympathy whatsoever - and i would have Gannon, Glover or Sinnot back before "half a job" as poor as they all were.

Vale need to learn from the Adams experience and with the next Manager make sure the Contract signed is more biased towards the Club(2million compensation fee if hes head hunted during the season) if we are recruiting an out of work candidate. If we manage to get an "in work Manager" at this level, who has some success on his track record, which would be my preference, then in this case the contract may have to be more balanced to reflect that.

There really is no help for you!! You would take back losers like Gannon, Sinnott and Glover, are you really one of the current board as I'm struggling to think of anyone that would come out with that sort of **** over them, no actually even they wouldn't which says an awful lot about you.

Micky is fast becoming the board's next rabbit to be plucked from the hat.

Now Automatic promotion is gone, and the play-off look likely to go the same way Micky is the board's Great White Hope.

The board supporters will see it as a major coup and many 'fence-sitters' may see Micky's return as a good enough reason to 'stick' instead of 'twist'.
