Go get Adams!

Another Adams thread and no doubt a thread where abuse will be thrown left, right and centre.

Isnt that the norm with Vale at the moment?

For what its worth, the day Adams left (30th December) i could not have predicted what was about to happen in the next 100 days since he has left.

The club has been turned upside down.

Black and Gold, Mo Chaudry, Jim Gannon, Busgate, Gary Roberts, Bill Bratt, Graham Mudie, EGM, Glenn Oliver, Exodus Geoghan, Player revolt, Tomos "Tweet", Mark Simms, Phil Taylor, Geoff Horsfield........ Have i missed an incident??

Micky was god to me. He took a group of average players and turned them into winners. He took **** from nobody but ultimately had the respect of everybody.

Good luck to those who dont want him back and are willing to let this board make a decision that they have more failure at than success.

Mickys days made me proud to be a Vale fan again.

I now feel ashamed and disgusted at what has happened and with the season slipping away, if not already slipped away, it really feels like im in a bad dream.

the post was setup more in frustration as a reaction our most recent result against yet another poor side. Unfortunately we are now one of these poor poor sides that will linger in league 2 forever and a day. Micky made me proud to be Vale, i would welcome him back with open arms.

(Sheff Utd hit the bottom of the championship this evening and are 7 points adrift of safety with 6 games to play)

I can only echo what Spunk Trumpet has said a couple of posts above, Micky Adams took what were a below par set of players from all walks of life and turned them into a table topping team with the passion and desire to get out of this forsaken league.

He is a god and we should snap his hand off if and when he gets the sack.

When he came to us last time he was desperate to show what he could do.... now he would be coming in desperation because of his failure at his home club.... the first MA was good.... I doubt another appearance would be quite so effective

Why would Adams come to a League Two side, when; even if United do go down, he could fight tooth and nail to remain at the helm there in League One at his supported club.

I mentioned a few days back that Adams will be dismissed if ( and when ) they go down.

I think he'll be sacked if United go down. How many managers have stayed in charge of relegated clubs in the past 10 years? Doesn't happen. Besides, he's nearly had 5 months to turn results around and it's not happened.

I would take him back in a heartbeat.
