Although we see Vale as 'massive' Keith Ryder said at the open meeting that PVFC was one of the smaller projects he was involved with.

 

On the basis that he is suffering 'extreme personal crisis' then I would expect the last to get any attention would be the smaller business projects in his life.

I don't totally disagree with what you say and there is perhaps little to be gained from speculating what the crisis is but IMO it is highly unlikley to be a financial one given Ryder's alleged wealth.

 

We are constantly told to look forward but it's so hard not to when we've had Mold/Miller/Deakin and then more latterly BY's and Lodey's apparent incompetence coupled with the dealings with a guy like Howard Hughes.

 

Given that there is much that we will never know about the last 3 months I think that the only thing that BY should now do is to officially discount KR from any involvmeng and then see what that shakes out of the tree. Like you've said previously, we now at least appear to have a football Club for 9 months.

 

It's just down to MA then to get us gates of 5000+ :)

I guess it will be that Ryder still hasn't transferred the money or one or two of the others have dropped out or Bratt is back in the fold,none of these things will be good.

 

The closer to the weekend it gets then the closer it is that it wont be Ryder taking over.

Exactly so, Mark. I don't see how Young can tell Ryder to beggar off when there are contracts in place. I also don't see the point of doing so now that he has lost his exclusivity and other bidders are apparently in the frame. Until someone puts the money on the table, there is no reason to say owt to Ryder other than "show us your money". If these other bidders fall through and Ryder wins the Euromillions this week we'll need to keep him onside!

Apart from KR's one-off roadshow in April and his mysterious funding/loaning of 50% of July's wage bill, he has, IMHO, treated us appallingly, irrespective of what may have happened at a personal level this week.

 

Surely we can't be saying that it's Ryder or Mold like we were told before that it was Bratt or Deakin?

My Dad has dealings with Bill Bratt through work and he told my Dad today that Ryder is getting the money from a pension fund.

 

Could explain the delay. Or Billy doing what he does best and talking crap.
