Sky Deal

Trouble is, the Sky deal is money for all I believe? I Follow was based on the income for each club, so for example we got more money for selling 5,000 views than Stevenage would for 500.

Long term, this sort of deal may harm us. We tended to do very well out of I follow relative small clubs and our I follow subscription rate was top 10 league 1.

Now the smaller clubs get the same fixed fee, killing a small, but nevertheless meaningful competitive advantage we had.

Got rid of sky to expensive killing all sport  for the real fans.

The coverage is outstanding for football and especially for golf. It is expensive but not if you use a dodgy stick 🦯 📺

in terms of this sky deal if all clubs on a level playing field then it’s up to the owners to get the best value out of it they can. Best value isn’t usually cheapest they could do well to remember that.

50 quid anyone? More reliable than iFollow and has loads of stuff. Dunna worry. I spend more than 300 quid a year on Vale to make up for it.

Looks as if kick offs are gonna be all over the place next season. Pain in the arse. If we do well next season we will probably be hit harder too as more likely to be covered.

Yes, the casual armchair fan is the only real winner.  Long away trips with a midday kickoff are going to be a rayt ball ache.

I'm getting reyt wurried now being an exile.......It's gone very quiet about what is happening. Sky is not an option and I just hope i can carry on watching every game. Mind you after last season perhaps its not such a bad idea!

CB, IFollow have said nothing will change for exiles, apart from the timing of some games, so until I hear otherwise I'm going with that.

Mind you I haven't heard anything about subscription renewal under the new format but it may be a little early.

I read the 20 games to include the noddy cup matches, which leaves less for pure league games - re the I-feel-low renewals for all us exiles 🥴, from memory, I think money was taken on 1st July, so a while to go yet im presuming - cant for one minute see them cancelling the ex-pat cash cow (as they have already intimated)

I assumed it was 20 games in league 2 , NOT 20 games of each league 2  club otherwise half of every clubs games would be televised.

No mate it's 248 games in our division.  There are only 552 games in the regular season.

So a big percentage are televised.
