Season Ticket Prices - Next Season

Piecing together what has been said by our CEO, I think the breakdown of ST holders from this current season is/was:

4400 'normal' ie. adults, seniors, kids who aren't freebies

1200 Team Valiants ie. freebie kids

600 corporate

If we assume corporate stays full and freebie kids don't drop off too much (may do by a hundred or so if the parents can't be arsed), that's 1500 - 1700 straight away. Then a 20% drop off in 'normal' would see us on about 3500. So, we're still getting over the 5k mark in my opinion unless literally half of the non-corporate grown ups just give up.

So, Saturday's should remain well attended - regular crowds in between 5k - 6k - because the freebie kids turn up en masse, but Tuesday nights may be a bit grim, especially if we're still serving up dross and the away end is full to the brim of 28 Crawley fans.

We can't shift Loft because he's under contract.  We can't make the same mistake with Wilson - 21 starts and 4 goals in the league.  I wouldn't re-sign Uche.  He is a heavyweight boxer, not a footballer.

Does Uche have an extension option in his contract?

Could be...

Port Vale Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Striker, Uche Ikpeazu.

The 6ft 3in striker has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him remain at Vale Park until at least the summer of 2024

Why say "at least"?...still think he will be gone

Maybe we need a boxer in league two!

Uche has scored goals in the championship recently for Wycombe, Middlesbrough and Cardiff. I think he will be fine in league 2 with a proper preseason.

I agree. I was quite impressed with Uche’s attitude. I would keep him.

I can’t see on what possible grounds anyone could argue to keep Uche. Let’s be honest he’s brings very little to us. Being unable to play more than 60 minutes a game doesn’t speak to being a professional either. Don’t tell me that was due to injury either, that was a shoulder he hurt. Nothing was stopping him doing some cardio on a exercise bike at the least.

Considering the home crowd in recent weeks I suspect the drop-off will be more than 20% after the 18 months of utter tripe we've had to endure. I won't be renewing. Prefer to have a membership so I can pick and choose my games a little more. Too many games were moved to Tuesday nights for my liking. How many times have we actually played at home on a Saturday this season?

Edit. It'll be 13 3pm Saturday home fixtures out of 23.
