Wycombe (H) match thread - 16th April

The worst thing is that the result really didn’t surprise me. For all the huff and puff there was no structure to anything we did.l, just hoping for something to drop.

Did Uche or Loft actually win anything tonight vs their CB’s?? I think not. Both looked like they belonged in the Ansells League. Utter gross.

Sorry, government are banning smoking.

Hope to god this lot all have relegation clauses inserted in their contracts! That would be a real kick in the c0ck if not!

I dont want to throw abuse at Carol. Takes a lot to run a football club and for all those moaning put your money up and do it if you know better. What we should all do now however is write our very own open letters to our chair explaining how down right shameful it was and has been for the past 18 months to ignore the fans and the football on show.

And unbelievably we keep employing more and more staff to areas of the club which, quite frankly, fans could give to twats about.

Not for much longer. Surely got to be redundancies coming after this shambles of a relegation season with the imminent revenue cuts.

Gone well since Wembley ant it

Burton & Cheltenham will lose all their games now. Snatch a draw at Bolton & thump Cambridge. No dramas pal 🤣

If anyone would like a straw to clutch at, after their draw tonight Bolton know that they are in the play-offs but can't make the automatic spots, given that Derby's remaining games are Cambridge and Carlisle (and Derby currently have 3 points + GD advantage).

So Bolton are likely to play a good number of their fringe players for a large part of the next two games and save their first choice players for the play-offs.

Yes, I know that it is a flimsy straw but there you go, best I've got.

It’ll be interesting to see how many away followings over 1000 we get in league 2… revenues will take a massive hit! Unless we are riding high in the league, c6k average crowds will become the new norm.

Well Masterchef wasn't bad. Quite getting into it.

Interrupted by my insane fixation that we might get a winner so I was on my phone every couple of minutes.

I can't remember a season with so few home wins
How about 23 home defeats in the last 2 seasons. A whole seasons worth of defeats. That really is a shocking statistic

I don’t have the money, but I promise I could do it better.

If you have the money, does that mean you can moan?

Having said that, Carol doesn’t have the money either.

Bloody hell. That’s terrible.

Priority for staff cuts next season:

1. Players

2. Medical team who don’t know the difference between injured and fit.

3. Manager

4. Sports scientists who decide a player has to come off if there’s a bead of sweat on their forehead.

5. Stewards. At current levels they’ll outnumber the away fans.

6. Recruitment team who couldn’t identify a fairy to sit on top of the Xmas tree.

Absolutely astounding that both Garrity & Chislett have managed to net double figures in this side.

Both will be gone in summer.
