Yesterdays embarrassment occurred on the anniversary of that draw at Rochdale that left us needing a point for autos.

Would any of the current squad get into the 12/13 side? And we started that season in admin.

Nah sell Dipepa. No guarantee he’ll turn out any good as he’s young still. Cash in whilst his price is high.

We won’t get that much for him right now. I’d prefer to keep him let him tear up league 2, get some more experience. This will only enhance his value

That’s high risk though. Could get a career ending injury. Could be <ovf censored>. Not worth taking the risk, cash in whilst we can and get some sell ons in there.

Have loved having Ben at the club. He will probably go down as my favourite ever player from this era we're about to exit.

Gives his absolute best every single game even when he's not "on it". One of our best signings of the past decade, he will be very much missed. Plays like he supports the club, like he's been a fan all his life. Effort, commitment, strength, goals, passion.

If we'd had 11 players who cared as much as him all season, we'd have been safe weeks ago. The bloke deserves to be playing at this level & I hope for him, that he gets a really decent move. We will be a much poorer side without him.

It’s a fair point you make, could be a risk worth taking as well. It’s a difficult one that’s for sure! I don’t think his value right now is anywhere near some may think. Personally I’d like to see him mature & stay with us for at least one more season especially if it’s league 2 but I also see your argument too 👍🏻

I know it’s not exactly the focus right now, but their third goal yesterday was lovely.

18 year old flicked it over the defenders first-time, then volleyed home by a 19 year old.

Exeter have done very well since coming up with us. Stick with Caldwell when it was easier to sack him, a lot of sensible business. Relied on a lot of loans but made it work.

Players cost the money in football because they are the greatest asset at making it. Buildings do nothing, unless they generate money. 
 

Most Vale fans will pay their £26/27 quid regardless of the stadium if the players are good. If they are not, fewer will.
