I thought the same. The £180m was venture capital investment in the company not purely a sale per se. I read it as most of the money would be reinvested in expanding the business but with some going to the owners in exchange for shares etc, so C & K would perhaps get some personal financial gain but not necessarily the amount some posters have assumed ie the full £180m

These signings so far have been excellent. Obviously nothing is certain until a ball is kicked. Much needed positivity after that depressing second half of the season. 

Very happy to see Connor Hall back. Was a massive part of the promotion season and we missed him massively after he left 

Stuff dull Southgate and his paint dry football. Bring on the season

James Plant actually being played as a right-winger

Plant on the right wing would be what I want to see. To be honest anywhere across those three positions behind the main striker but preferably the right as whenever I’ve seen him on the left he always cuts in as his left foot seems just for standing on.

If we brought in Alex Mighten to play on the wide of a three in League 2 then that could turn out to be another very good signing. Get him fit in pre-season and he would tear farmers apart in this league.

I wonder if our much maligned El Preidente is doing more behind the scenes (£££) than his detractors think.
