How pleasing to see so much of our business done before even the pre season friendlies.  We should be able to hit the ground running. 

I suspect possible departures will be near the end of the window, when clubs have failed with other targets and are desperately seeking numbers.  Morecambe might be a destination, given how many they've lost.

Adams will do what he normally does at Morecambe,  sign 21 - 24 year old castoffs and turn them into a decent side. They had even less last season and he created a half decent side for nothing.

Says on wiki he signed for Grimsby today [emoji23]

Yeah he ran the midfield, pity for Barnet the rest of the side weren't very good and they went down🤣

I remember that game was there as well when he punched Naylor didn't he😂, then Mills and Naylor scored, we had a class side in those days.  Strange how we signed him about 15 years later and did a good job with Lee Hughes the 2nd half when we got promoted in Pope's 33 goal season.   I think that was our last win at Oxford before last season as well, I used to hate the Manor Ground as we rarely won there!

One big hope for the new season is that our talented young players will benefit from having a stronger structure around them.

I still don't think that player training is Mighten,could it be walters as he was in training and looks older than he is? At first glance I thought it looked like Dabo the ex Coventry and FGR full back ?

I don’t think he played for us before that but I could be wrong. 2013 this was we lost 2-1 but was Lee Hughes & popey era 👍🏻 Yeah our overall record at Oxford is horrendous in recent times anyway

Is Rhys Walters already training after breaking his foot? It’s been said he won’t be back fit until November so would he be training this soon?

It’s not Walters mate & very much doubt he’s in training yet
