    He was superb mate no doubt. I’m  unconvinced that’s his normal level though. Nothing more than my gut feeling and watching Colchester play a couple of times at the end of last season.

    Hopefully he’s as good as fans remember and wins another promotion with us.

    Maybe it is now but add just another couple of players and this squad for me is/looks a lot better than the one that got us promoted last time around

    By the way - I hasten to add, these are just things I'm told be a friend close to the Vale. I have zero proof of what I'm told.

    We were 11th when he left with 9 wins out of 23 (39% win).

    Next lowest team to have not moved division between January 7th 2023 and the end of the 23/24 season is Cheltenham, who won 10 out of 68 and had 70 points.

    Agreed yet again but as i have said i would be far happier with another full back as well

    The nice thing is that we've sort of established a competitive, experienced first 11 by day 1 of pre-season.

    Give us the chance to add loans to it - improving the squad, not holding the entire affair together as Blaster did.

    Going forward I think we have probably one of the best attacking line ups in the league. If Curtis can find his pre injury form then we are going to have a very good player on our hands.
