Moore wanted to bring him back but was sacked so obviously couldn't,i would be amazed at this one as he will be on a good wage and there will be plenty of interest in him including from Blackpool

34 now though & he’s not going to have anyone in the championship interested. Would be a shock to see him drop to league 2 as you say more likely to be someone like Blackpool or that level. The 15 million we get for Garrity & add ons will cover his wages

Rumours Jordan Rhodes has been seen at the ground. Good signing if true, age is irrelevant if he scores the goals to help us get back up, there’s still plenty of mileage left on him I reckon.

It would certainly fit the bill for a marquee signing that. His record speaks for itself and coming off a good season. Probably long odds on us pulling that off but if we did that would be huge. Not worried about his age either, would then look to bring in a younger type forward to learn off him.

15 goals in league 1 last season. His goal scoring record over his career is really good, he would tear the bottom division to shreds. Shocked if we pulled this off mate

Just thinking if we were 4-2-3-1 Rhodes up top with Chislett, Curtis and Plant behind him should be really strong in L2 (I’m working on the basis Garrity would be deeper alongside Ojo).

True 🔥 I wouldn’t be suprised to see another player of Curtis’ calibre coming through the door & Planty being used off the bench. Have a feeling one of Ben or Chizzy will be off. If we were to sign someone like Rhodes then it’s a real statement of intent that we’re going for it. Carol could be blowing her Synetics wedge 😁Hopefully we keep both of them as they would be a big handful for us next season

Potentially, at the back of my mind Garrity for us is incredible but if you’re looking at one of the upper-mid clubs in L1 I think the technical ability comes more into their thoughts so could see them passing. Would he also really be interested in a L1 club like Shrewsbury down the bottom either? I’m not sure on that. Chiz I could see someone wanting a look as he’s a genuinely creative player so of the two if one were to leave I’d say it’ll be him.
