My Suggestion to them was :

" You also need ; A Right Winger No 7 - An Inside Right No 8 - FOUR Centre Forwards - An Inside Left No 10 - A Left Winger No 11 "

Why does the kit manager need an assistant?! Can’t the players sort out their own kit?

Well yeah. As we can’t afford a striker, you simply ask them to go to the stock room and get what they need. If it needs washing, you stick it in a machine like every one else who works for a living. 
 

Actually given how badly organised they are on the pitch, maybe that is asking too much. 
 

How many league one clubs have support staff for a kit manager? That’s something I would love to know.

I can see a lot of the top sides up to Championship have one, but it, from a casual web search, isn’t that common lower down. I did find Gillingham have one, but that’s a bit of an exception lower down.

Since seeing this thread I keeping asking myself if my job was available (it really wouldn't be) at Port Vale or would I want to work at the Vale in some ideal role ... I actually don't know with this lot in charge.

The stuff on the pitch is really off putting in that sense.

The roles I've seen advertised don't seem to pay particularly well either fwiw.
