Heard Saturday that if we go down Moore will resign ( not to fussed ) but I think he will want to stay and get us back up asap. He won’t get a championship job any time soon anyway. VTID

Be surprised if he did resign. I very much doubt there’d be a huge amount of clubs wanting him right now. Guess it comes down to what backing he’s going to get here for the rebuild.

Rock, for me this closed season will reveal a lot, as to where we are as a football club going forward. I think we’ll know what sort of a season we’re going to have based solely on how much we have in the transfer funds. Not including the money we get for Garrity, possibly Chizzy and the young players.
On the bright side for me I’ll get back my seat that I’ve had for a number of years. I lost the seat due to ppl riding the promotion wave who purchased the seat as a ST.

I don’t want to go down obviously but the possibility of Moore Resigning is the Best News Possible.

The man is obviously on a higher wage than most managers would want, for being completely out of his depth.

At least under Michael Brown the Players may not have been up to standard but at least they knew what they were doing and looked like they had a Plan.

Moore is so far behind the 8 Ball and other managers it’s almost comical.

Saturday Loft gets Injured in the Warm Up but he doesn’t change him for another body.

You have to make all contingency plans as a Manager.

Second Half them players hadn’t got a clue where to play or what to do, they were like lost sheep.

A Manager with any nous would have reacted straight away to Caldwell’s change of tactics but no, he just stood there.

He has no motivation skills whatsoever, claps the fans when the Team Wins and Disappears straight away when they lose.

I have never had less faith in a Manager at the Vale and the Sooner he goes the Better.

This excuse they aren’t his players only goes so far, we have Regressed under him for perhaps Double or Treble the Wage.

I know this won’t happen but I would Prefer Will Ryder in charge for the last 3 Games.

I would be surprised if Moore resigned unless the club wanted that outcome, he has had 2 disasterous spells so his stock is down and walking away from a 5 year deal after 3 months wouldn't look great to future clubs would it?

That said if he goes he goes but we would need to be quick to get a new manager in as there is no one there to draw up a retained list and need to be on the ball in terms of signings.

If Cheltenham go and DC leaves I would move heaven and earth.

Can't see Moore quitting, especially as his team of backroom staff recently joined too.
I have a feeling that funds will be made available as soon as the season ends to rebuild, whichever division we are in.
I think that's what persuaded him to join in the first place.
I also think we fans may be surprised at the level of funds made available.

Why would Moore walk away from hundreds of thousands of pounds?

Even if he only gets paid off to the value of 12 months, that’s still a load of money.

He isn’t resigning. He won’t be sacked.

If his rumoured wage is true then there’s 100% money available.

I don't think Moore will walk.It appears that he has been told that when we go down we will find the money for a promotion push, so, it is only my assumption, that he isn't bothered about us going down with players that are not his. Let's face it he would not be able to do much with the club in the first division but it would look good on his cv with a promotion from the second division.

It would have looked better on his CV if he had kept us up !

People have been told a whole load of fairy stories over the past couple of years. With Vale don’t go with what you’re told, go with what you see.
