Whilst Moore is a 'name', he is coming off a disastrous spell at Huddersfield who have massively improved from the second he left. The idea that we should be grateful he's here is patronising. He's here as it was the best offer - not out of altruism for some poor, little club he felt sorry for.

Moore is at PVFC's level and that is why he's our manager. Don't try and pretend I should be well chuffed because he's above us, as Carol implies.

I have genuinely never seen the fans of any other club exhibit the defeatism and self-deprecating views I have seen from Vale fans on social media over the years. It's like that "born in Crewe, live in Crewe, die in Crewe" banner but worse.

Whether DM is a success or failure, time will tell. However, yet again, we didn't interview anyone else for the role. So that's a Director of Football appointed without a competitive application process. A manager in Crosby appointed without a competitive application process. And now another managerial appointment with an interview shortlist of one. It hardly seems a failsafe approach to getting the best candidate for the job.

Cannot understand how fans can question DM this early in his tenure, this time next season may be.  The people to blame for our demise, 1 Carol she is in charge. 2 DF after last year to not sign players in key positions is absolutely criminal. OK it would cost money but how much is relegation going to cost.

You are not alone in not wanting Moore as manager.

He’s just come off a record of 3 wins in half a season,23 games at Huddersfield and now 3 defeats with Vale.

He has somehow managed to make us worse.

The players, certainly some of them, appear to not be giving 100% and don’t look happy.

Moore’s selections and substitutions leave a lot to be desired.

His Interviews are Cringeworthy and yesterday, just going down the Tunnel was not the correct thing to do.

I have seen players being Interviewed like Garrity. and even they don’t seem to be the same.

The fans just seem so disappointed and angry with the club at the moment and the Owner seems broken and deluded.

We all know who is to blame for this situation but the Owner thinks differently, and she will definitely, I feel, learn the Hard way.

You do realise that DM has been left with one of the - if not THE - worst Vale squads of the last 40 years, and no way of changing it before the end of the season??

If we had Guardiola or Klopp in charge, we would be in EXACTLY the same position, i.e. having to decide whether a CBA Loft or inexperienced Dipepa plays up front with a half-fit Wilson, or which CB / Midfielder gets to play LB.

I just thought I’d check as your post suggests you weren’t aware of this not so minor issue.

You cannot call for the managers head after 3 games, just look at what he has got to work with, an unbalanced squad of sub-standard low confidence players, many of whom do not even seem to be prepared to put a shift in. Alex Ferguson would struggle to get a performance out of them. I don't believe that Moore will walk if (when) we go down as it looked odds-on when he took the job. I  guess he will have a big say in who should stay and who should go in the end of season clearout. I also think that Darren will be telling flitcroft exactly what he wants in terms of replacements. Keep the faith with Darren, I trust him more than the clown dof.

We are were we are. Our recruitment has been dreadful and we are up against it but for all my and others criticism of our DOF, we simply have to hope and pray that the Manager and team we have can do what is required. So, we have to get behind them until the end of the season - there will be plenty of time for recriminations in the summer but whatever happens, I can't see how DM can be criticised for much...

It's not too surprising that selections are being questioned because we're running out of time and we don't have any margin for error. For me Lopata is the first name on the team sheet in defence, and I'm astonished that any manager of any length of tenure would think any different. He's head and shoulders above any other option there.
