In 1969 I watched as Gordan Lee took my Vale team to an unexpected promotion, players like  Tommy  McClaren and Jessie James gave everything to punch above their weight and connect with supporters with their fight and effort as a substitute for ability, this made me a Vale supporter and at the time few had any idea who owned the club. I regret that the high-profile current owners have managed to extinguish that flame, RIP Port Vale.

He can’t even get that right, the last game before he arrived we drew under Will Ryder who set up the team a lot better than Moore.

He says we were comfortable, what game was he watching.

A decent manager would have got his team to stop the crosses coming in.

I can’t believe how we have gone backwards so quickly since Moore came in.

Sadly I think that was the last chance to kick start the season . I am quite relaxed now as I am resigned to the fact that we are down.

For me this was the worst performance of the season, and we lost 7-0 to Barnsley… I’m concerned not about this year as we’re down, but moving forwards. Moore seems completely tactically inept, subs have been shocking and that second half was something else
