  1. I agree with many points. Our biggest problem this season is our lack of identity..ie playing style. We have mainly played 3-5-2 or 3-5-1/1. And that is vogue in the modern game so no problem there, however that is were the problem has been. From game 1 we have let Ripley launch the ball upfield mainly because he wants to but secondly because our 3 centre backs (especially Smudge and Yak) Are scared to have the ball. From my recollection and I've only missed 3 games this season only Lowe has passed the ball out of defence with any purpose And as for our wingbacks who are continually criticised they must be thinking what the hell is going on? They continually have to gamble on were the ball ends up after its repeatedly been launched and fans wonder why they get caught out of position from time to time.A real team playing 3 centre backs welcomes the ball and the wing backs become heavily involved in the progression up the pitch thru the lines. The best wingback in the world could not play for vale as they would be repeatably starved of the ball and probably frustrated with the lack of Basic passing ability from our centre backs This has got to stop we need defenders who can not only pass but want the ball off our keeper ASAP so we can start moves off. The wingbacks have been hung out to dry and been the main scapegoats for our none playing style. There is no doubt that Moore seems clueless at present you only have to see our last 3 games the ball being launched up to Uche has been painful to watch . See you Saturday at Vale Park UTV
  2. Connor Grant looks finally fit after a really bad season needing 2 major operations. Being a physio I've a lot of experience in rehab and his 2 ops were always going to halt his instant return to the form he showed at Plymouth. He was very good all day and even against Peterborough he showed that he's playing with more freedom. Today's defeat is certainly not on him and if people looked closely they would see a very technical footballer. This forum is about opinions not vendettas so judge players on how they play and not to be a scapegoat if the team loses See you Tuesday UTV
  3. I clapped the players if that's ok. Posh are a top team very dominant on the night and our plan was to nick a point . There wide players were very mobile and tricky and yet we kept them at bay until Ripley decided to let a head high shot in on half time and that ruined our game plan But he will go on twitter later and say we must do better and people will buy it and say its not your fault connor! Big shout out to Planty and Grant who gave there all against waves of expansive football and kept going to the end. See you Saturday UTV
  4. Shocker by Ripley ruined a great defensive display head height shot disgrace
  5. Plant needs to pass to a blue shirt and make the most of his openings there's never any end product. Please prove me wrong james. UTV
  6. Great battling display need more set pieces as Grant delivery been outstanding UTV
  7. I agree what is going on with Darren Moore? We were always in games with Crosby but now unrecognisable. I heard today at the game he's listening to Smith and Jones who coincidently fell out with Crosby just before he was sacked. Apparently Jones had a big fallout with Crosby after the Fleetwood game in the dressing room as he was fuming he wasn't on the bench. And then on the Monday Crosby was sacked Smith was left out of the team earlier in the day.The guys on the concourse today said they approached Flitcroft and Carol and shortly after Crosby was sacked. If this is the case and its only an if then its no wonder we are doing so bad See you at Buryon UTV I
  8. I would put Grant in the middle alongside Ojo that's his best position and yet we have never played him there. There's a player in there and we must explore all options UTV
  9. Yes I heard that but losing Alfie is a blow if its true he's going to Plymouth
