Carol has been good for this club. And I believe still will be in the future. There is not a long line of investors with millions of pounds to kiss goodbye for no return. Ask fans of Rochdale and Torquay. Football finances in the lower leagues have really hit the stupid button.
Remember when Carol took over we were having crowds of around 4,000 and allegedly close to breaking even. Now crowds of 6,500 can't break even.
Unfortunately, Carol is or has been naive of the workings and ridiculous business models of football club. She has then been taken in by the sweet talking of a man who is incompetent in his role and has previously overseen the financial demise of another club.
Hopefully now wiser Carol can reset, get rid of Flitcroft and move on. Get on with team first, everything else second.

Having seen their first goal again, it’s even worse than I thought. After giving it away the efforts of smith and Debrah to get back in are a disgrace. Just jogging over. If they both sprint back their player’s still got to beat two defenders, and it gives ripley more time to get back in position.

I'm weirdly looking forward to seeing it to confirm I wasn't hallucinating.

Also.

I've been jokingly starting the Loft Love Club.

That will stop immediately.

He walked straight down the tunnel at the end. No hint of acknowledgement. Get me money and get me home.

Who is paying your wages, Ryan? Grow up. Maybe score a goal for the first time in over a year instead of petulantly stropping off at full time.

Get him sacked. A disgrace to Port Vale and I'd rather play Dipepa or the corpse of Wilk Kirkham every week.

The squad was better first half of the season and a half decent manager would have accumulated more points making the fall from grace since the disastrous January less of a disaster.

It's clear where the problem is. It's been the same problem since last January and arguably since the first summer in league one when we gave them the benefit of the doubt about the whole 'too short a timeframe to make transfers' <ovf censored>

Ripley. Poor. The pass he gave away 2nd half was atrocious. He’s too emotional and it’s showing in his performances. There’s caring and then there’s losing control of your emotions. And that’s where Ripley is.

Jones. Did ok. Nothing special but looks a good solid left back.

Sang. Thought he did really well. Looked so frustrated at his options going forward.

Debrah. Doesn’t look the player he was. Looks very dodgy on the ball. But when you’ve got Smith next to you what can anyone expect.

Smith. Garbage. Said it before but no club ever comes in for him because he’s really not very good. He can head a ball. He can be nasty. And then what? He makes last ditch tackles because positionally he’s woeful. He’s a huge part of our problem. And he’s certainly no captain.

Lowe. Crap. Get him gone.

Ojo. Not good enough again.

Garrity. Added a bit of fight and improved the middle of the park.

Chisnell. Love the lad. Sadly the weight on his shoulders is weighing heavy. Poor today. Trying way too hard.

Weir. He’s like David Moyes stepping into Alex Fergusons boots in trying to replace Arblaster.

Wilson. Better. Much better. Should have scored but was a threat and ran his socks off.

All in all we are in a mess and doomed.

Crosby has been made a scapegoat to cover up the inadequacies of the big cheese Dof and owner.

This is the worst squad, relative to the league it's in, we've had in decades.

31 losses in 54.

Not even Smurthwaite had us this poor.

I absolutely detested Smurthwaite, but the mistakes that Carol has made over the last 18 months are right up there with the Bruno experiment. That's part of her legacy.

And DF didn't want tom pett 👏👏👏🤣🤣🤣

Do you know Hoppers I understand why. Pete couldn't get about the pitch last year and we needed more mobility in that area especially on our size pitch. What I can't fathom is why Jason Lowe is considered a CM. Only highlights the failing of Flitcroft recruitment especially when you consider Crosby's vision for his team.

What makes you think she’s wiser. She is utterly deluded. Talking about bloody campuses, get real! We’re going to be in league 2!
I do agree, we are going to get relegated.
However she is obviously an intelligent woman. She will now be wiser to the absurdity of football finances. Unfortunately she has fallen for both the <ovf censored> of Flitcroft and the modern infatuation that you have to make going to football matches an all over experience. Throwing in all sorts of ancillary things that mean nothing to football fans.

1. The most important thing is to see our team win. We don't need a fan zone. We just want to get to our seat and watch a decent game of football. A burger van and some bovril from a rickety tea bar will do

2. The biggest buzz we will get is watching our team fight back from a couple of goals down with a last minute winner. We will remember that. The buzz will last for weeks. Some crap we bought in the fan zone, we won't give a <ovf censored> about. We certainly won't remember some DJ playing needless excessive music

3. We don't care if the stand we sit in is old and decrepit. We just want to watch a decent match.

4. We are Port Vale not Man City. We don't care if we are are championship ready or not. We just want to go out for a few beers on a Saturday night with that buzz that we have just watched a great game or at least a win. We know who we are, what we are. We don't expect promotion to the championship. Just to be competitive.

5. Oh and what is this <ovf censored> about campuses. Someone update me on that.

Jason Lowe is the new Micheal Tongue but he's even slower.

1st thought can he player it backwards, 2nd thought can he play it the goalkeeper 3rd thought kick it out. He's simply not a L1 standard midfield player.

Not sure of his age. Irrelevant anyway but he's a poor man's Tom Pett.

Astonishingly without a club until Cheltenham came calling in October.

Whilst me make do with a guy released from a League 2 club.

However he's a great pro and good in the dressing room !

So is a coat peg.

Hahahaha he was utter gash! Can’t find a pass, every time he touches the ball its over hit by a good 20 yards. Clumsy as fuk &  constantly gives the ball away. And the penalty I knew as soon as the forward turned him he was going to give a penalty away he’s so predictable. Fuk him off useless. The rest of your points pretty fair mate 👍🏻

Its toxic. Can't blame him.

Can't blame fans either for being toxic.
