Doesn’t seem to indicate either way. My guess is probably not with a few months on his deal probably worked out something mutual to terminate his contract and free up some wages.

All the best to him though. Pre-injury he was some player and always a great character in the club. Been documented before during the promotion year even on crutches he was leading the squad and keeping things together off the pitch.

Liked Conlon, educated left foot and tenacious, like many others I'm surprised he's gone to a tier 5 club. Sad to see injuries get in the way of a players career, good luck Tom.

I am mega sad that Oldham, Rochdale and Bury have gone out of the EFL. Oldham,  in particular, were in the First Division / Premier League when formed in the early 1990s. It's time they were on an upward trajectory again and Tom Conlon is the type of higher level player needed to step up.

I can only echo the other comments, great player for us and a great Captain.  Definitely a player that’ll be remembered fondly.  That left peg is so good as hopefully the Latics fans will see.  Best of luck to the lad.

Another of the promotion winning squad that should be afforded a warm welcome if he ever comes back to play against us or comes to visit in the future. Came in for a lot of stick at times and still gave it his best for us. Now he gets to do the promotion thing all over again with Oldham.
