Thanks @Valiiant for starting this thread. I think it's brought back a lot of memories of days gone by on OVF. I'm really enjoying the posts suggesting names that I've forgotten about. 

I think the memories on here show what a vibrant and interesting community it's been over the years. It's certainly something I would never have envisaged when I first published the "There's only one Vale fan in Bristol?" website several decades ago. 

I'd like to think the irony of the "onevalefan" name is clear. Initially, I liked the idea of calling it OVF as a kind of ironic response to Stoke fans deriding our attendances (and also because in the pre-forum days it was mainly a one-man show). I think this thread shows that over the years actually OVF is a community effort - from Aussie Rule's competitions and poems to Johnny Aitch's lengthy debates, the valuable backroom work of the Admin team (past and present) and those of regular contributors, such as Twitters and Burt to name just two, in days gone by. 

I think it's simply an evolution though - nowadays we have our own "regulars" so though I'd love to see those old names back on here, I'm still enjoying what the "current" generation have to say! 

Anyone got any other names from the past?
