A bit strong....

Saturday cost me £304 but that must be loose change for you.

If you are saying that £304 is a small fortune to you personally, and it is a lot of money, why are you spending that much on one game of football?

I don't understand why they didn't just play it Saturday once the fans had all left the ground behind closed doors and at least complete the footballing side of it? They could of done that then sent out a tweet/report the match was concluded behind closed doors with the result and match report.

Then Vale incur less costs, the integrity side is done and then its just down to the EFL to sort punishment for Reading and how to handle to loss to the Vale fans in terms of expediture.

Easy with hindsight to say what the EFL should have done though! As this was an unprecedented event I guess they didn't know what was going to happen...

It's not with hindsight though. The pitch invasion was planned and the police, stewards and Reading FC did absolutely NOTHING to stop it.

I was out Saturday, said to the wife I will check the score around 20 past 4 but am expecting it to have been held up by that point as it has been widely reported... looked on X and there was a picture of the fans on the pitch, the majority of fans knew it was a high possibility as their fans had said they'd do it, the EFL could have planned for it better than it was.

It is easy to plan anything, execution is another thing. This was an unprecedented event. The police were there to keep order, when it looked like it was going to kick off between our fans and theirs they stepped in to suggest that it wasn't a good idea.

In terms of what to do now the EFL has a bad situation here because Reading fans may well repeat this at their subsequent home games, so they have to make that a less appealing option so do they put their games behind closed doors now? In which case Reading lose more vital finance?

The issue with this owner though is that two clubs he has been involved with I believe have been dissolved, one in China and KSV Roselare in Belgium who like Reading went from the top flight down two leagues before hand.

Seems that the only fans happy this morning are Hull City fans. The current Reading owner failed the Premier League test when trying to buy Hull City in 2016. I wasnt aware anyone ever failed the proper persons tests!!

Why would Hull fans be happy ? I don't understand that bit.
Surely Brighton are an example of every club of how to rise from the ashes.
Completely lost me.
Lost myself as well. Have amended Brighton to read Reading.
