Yes we were more direct than we usually are, but defenders still tried to play out of the back, instead of clearing balls they kept trying to pass them sideways to each other, putting Vale under pressure.

Some of the defending was so bad I’m not sure there’s the right word to describe but walking out the Hamil End hearing multiple people say how much they’ve enjoyed today and it was fun to watch give me this over what we were serving up before.

Well done Uche and Massey today. I thought they were both outstanding and fully deserved their goals. I don’t want to hear Ale & The Vale podcast do anything but praise Uche for today!

Massey MOTM for me I thought he was superb. Sang played well on his return but we continue to defend like an U8’s team.

Why are we so poor again 1st half?

they're not someone we should be expecting to pick many points off let's be honest. They're one of the bigger clubs in this divisions who would of set playoffs as a target albeit they've struggled a bit so far but their budget is a lot bigger than ours etc so 4 points from 2 games i'll more than take

Maybe because until a couple of weeks ago we had Ojo and Arblaster in midfield.  We now have Uche with Wilson and Chislett just behind. Maybe trying to play the game where our best players are on the pitch.

Totally agree. All these defensive lapses are costing us numerous points. Earlier in the season, we could  hardly buy a goal but weren't conceding that many ( apart from Barnsly in the first game of course). Now we've started scoring but can't defend for toffee!

Sang was ok at times his pathetic control that cost us the second goal was lads n dads stuff

Because Crosby selected a clearly unfit defender that shouldn't have been on the pitch and didn't sub him off until what, the 35th minute? Playing with 10 men against anyone is always difficult.

Being a big club for the league doesn't make them a good team though. They're only just above us in the league for a reason, and can't buy a win away from home.

Every team in the league will have two or three standout players somewhere in the side and they're no exception. 4 points from them in 6 is fine when you look at it that way. But today we still gifted them a draw.

2 points dropped in a game we were never in front. Charlton could say they dropped 2 points but we cannot.

the ball from devine should never have happened but to say it was a dreadful ball is a bit much. It was played with no pace & from about 3 yards. Yes he should of got rid but sangs control or lack of was so poor. Devine is prob used to playing them sort of balls with better players who can control a football or would get rid
