Perhaps could consider Willo as our ‘loan’  signing (contract terms regards wages/contribution might be similar to a loan signing?) if Thomas goes back and then still sign someone more permanent?  We’re not likely to change our style to suit Loft’s/Uche’s strengths (whatever they are) though having seen the below on Twitter,  great build-up poor (I’m being kind) final ball, we could have Harry Kane upfront and with service like that, still not have a goal scoring striker.

Right - first and foremost - that was dead funny 😍😍😍😍

Secondly - it also showed what free flowing, pacey football we can play - and that being by all accounts one of the worst vale performances in a long time

I agree that we are not going to change our style which makes the signings of Uche & Loft look more ridiculous because I thought we had an "identity" with the way we want to play which comes with its own problems.

No matter how you look at it, we are not going to have 4 experienced strikers on our books come the end of January especially when we have a manager that will never play with 2 strikers. Somethings got to give in regards to Uche, Loft & Wilson with the easiest option being either let Wilson or Uche go in January

But they're both under contract aren't they? So, unless Vale can get a fee, it looks like those two will be with us for the rest of the season!

Wilson out of contract in a few days

Uche on a contract until the end of the season.

Both of them would be easy enough to get rid of in January if you want a new striker coming in that is

I didn't realise that Wilson's contract was only until January. As I thought,  Uche is on a season-long contract. So, surely it isn't that easy to get rid unless both parties agree to cancel his contract?

Well, Uche might have other offers and a modest payout, in lieu of notice, might appeal to him.  It's not like he's a regular starter and his prospects here are great.

I agree.

What I'm trying to point out is that people are expecting a goal scoring striker to come in but we would have to make room in the centre forward position to make that happen. We are not going to end January with 4 x experiences strikers on the book

He's definitely over-rated by some Vale fans, and it's obvious by now that he's just incapable of staying fit for any decent amount of time which almost makes him a liability. But he's obviously levels above both Loft and Ikpeazu, who are both utter <ovf censored>. Loft in-particular has to be one of the worst strikers I've ever seen pull on a Port Vale shirt. Even worse than Kyle Perry.

Good move by the Vale, objective is to stay in this division, he could make the difference even if he can only play 25-50% of the minutes.
