FT 0-1. Well done, Vale but watch out for Crosby’s post-match interview:

“This marks the turning point, we’re now only 14 points off the playoffs, all to play for”

What happened, a win. Sorry I dont get the concept, please explain.

Forgotten what its like to have 3 points and say we won the game.

Made better that sjoke lost.  Callers will be calling for his head, like Vale have been doing for AC's head.

Only an idiot would say that, and Crosby is certainly not an idiot.

Garbage performance probably one of the worst of the season .

Ripley saved Take the win though .

Glad for the travelling valiants but second half we didn't look fit enough .

Uche did well

Ollie did well

Ripley did well .

Everyone else really struggled.

We were very lucky

A win and a proper shift from the lads. Let's keep backing them and do our job. Plenty of managers have turned worse around.

You can see the effort was there if not the quality. Uche stormed through their defence a few times and could have had a couple of goals easily. I did think we were the better team, not saying much true, but they seemed to have even worse forwards than us.

I feel I may have to contact NHS 111 because I have this strange feeling of relief and not angry, stressed or depressed on a 5pm Saturday afternoon. It feels weird winning again

Crosby still needs to go but

Vale win

Stoke lose again

Crwho lose

And united battered

Happy weekend valiants

Love posts like this. Don’t allow yourself even a moment to enjoy 3 points.

Until something changes at the club there's very little to enjoy. That was another toothless and quite terrible performance against a side luckily just as bad as us. Enjoy the 3 points. I won't enjoy seeing us perhaps heading for League two.

Ugly win but always better than playing brilliantly and loose.

Let's go again Vale

Two sh!t teams, with the worst coming out on top. Sweeney could have had a hat trick.

Ah well, a very welcome 3 points. It's about time we had a but of luck.
