Only Ripley kept us in it this half and don't know how we are going to conjure anything much out of this. They have better players as you'd expect but they are much better organised, defend better and are well set up for attack, something we just don't seem to be able to do. 

Fingers crossed for the second half and hopefully a surprise visit from Lady Luck.

Great we are still 0-0.  Both sides have had passages of good football, made mistakes, but we are still in it.  Just hope we can get a goal for all our efforts - but not sure where it will come from.

There you go, half time and we're still level, who knew?  Second half we storm the barricades, it bounces in off someones left buttock to put us in front, and we walk away victorious but humble, knowing that we are an inferior side and just a small town in Stoke, but still punching above our weight.  Keep believing...

Massey is having a good game. Ripley is the biggest worry at the back at the moment. Uche is doing ok, and Ollie and Alfie are doing alright, too. It's not a brilliant game, but it's enjoyable and pretty much end-to-end They have got away with a couple of calls, too.

There is this guy on the sidelines near the halfway line who shouts a lot. Putting our players off.

Massey & Uche looking the most likely to do summit, hardly seen Alfie to be honest or garrity. Maybe bring Chiz on at some point to try & create something.

OK Vale haven't scored but we haven't conceded against a good team with good players. Excellent, competitive game just lacking a Vale goal.

Massey doing well and does a lot of good things but when it really, really matters his quality is sometimes not there. The cross from the terrific ball from Devine was the  classic example, a good cross and Uche bundles that in.

How the f did Uche foul their defender at the end, dreadful decision.
