Crewe wiped the floor with these lot over two games, they aren't world beaters so we should get a win we are overdue.

You'd play with just Josh up top.and no Ollie?

Sacrifice a midfielder and a bit more possession to play 2 strikers. Uche and Loft tell them to attack these crosses from Sang.

The number of times we have a great delivery and only Garrity is prepared to run across a defender is criminal.

I wasn't there. But the stats show PV had 22 shots with 5 on target and 1 goal at Shrewsbury.

Personally I am bored out of my skull with 3 at the back. But given this is likely to be played we need to get players in the box. With 22 shots we should be getting more than 1 goal.

That includes making sure someone is at the back post and someone is in front of goal when shots go in.

In other words the wing backs need to do more than pointlessly stand out on the wing waiting for us to get our 500 sideways passes completed.

Given we do have good players, surely Crosby might manage to get them organised in attack and defence tonight. We can win this with a good attacking and defensive performance. That includes not just grunting the subs - 60 mins off comes U, on comes L no matter what the game needs etc.

It’s looking like it could be a really poor home crowd according to the seats available on the online layout.

You’d expect that playing Derby at home would pull a few extra fans, regardless of form.

It’s nice to be playing Derby at home, in comparison to playing Salford.

It should be no surprise.

Boredom watching Vale games. It’s an effort for ST holders to turn up let alone pay as you go attendees plus you can watch in the comfort of your own home for half price….  or free😉

I can't remember who brought it up before Warren. But what constitutes a shot ?

I maybe remember getting excited about 3 times on Saturday that we might score. Certainly not 22 times.

Was Shrewsbury's keeper named MOTM on Saturday?

When games get shifted to Tuesday it takes a lot of effort to attend. And the game is screened tonight. But I found the willpower and made the effort. I will need some pints later.

Setting off myself soon in anticipation.

But wouldn't have a pop at anyone who swerves it. Bitterly cold. Awful form. Football on TV. I think we'll do well to get 10'000 tonight.

I don't know, my stats come from Sky. Don't give a Man of the Match. But 5 shots on target with 1 let in doesn't convince me he's the top dude?

A player 30 yards out, can look like he's struck the ball like a shot. It can hit a defender standing 5 yards away but it get's recording that it was a shot even though its not even travelled anyway near the goal.

That skews the stats and then gets people like Warren & Devine Intervention excited that we should be scoring buckets full because of those skewed stats

Well, a lot of the time on Sky stats this season it's been something like 9 shots, 2 on target and no goals. So I need to give some credit. I'm not excited. Yet again we conceded and yet again we lost.

I don't think that would get recorded as a shot actually.   "A Blocked Shot is not classified as a Shot Off Target." Unless it seems that it was blocked by the last defender.

The trouble at the Vale is, criticism is given even when it's not due. A section of our "support" is actually the opposite, it's embarrassing. It's as if they want something or someone to boo and berate, with Gav Massey being the latest unfortunate one to cop for it off these imbeciles.

I'm sorry, l just don't get it.

Massey was last season's scapegoat...carrying on into this season despite playing better!  But, they've none of last season's GKs to blame so was always going to be Gav although Tom Sang took a lot of flak early on!

And you're right - when we played Cheltenham there was whit-haired, shaven-headed "gentleman" shouting from the first minute that Vale weren't any good.  It didn't matter if they did anything wrong, it was the same comments throughout  - but more f-bombs...until my son pointed out to him that he was swearing like this in the family section of the Hamil, and with several children in earshot. Now - I get passion, and I get frustration...but from the first minute until he stormed off was unnecessary and over-the-top, and showed some of the attitude that prevails amongst our fans!!

Bitterly cold as you say, just so long as the temperature doesn't drop as low as our goal difference
