My lack of confidence is largely with Flitcroft. Anyone who thought that signing no strikers over the summer was acceptable is clearly a prat. That’s on him.

Agree, his recruitment elsewhere has been decent but forwards since we have been in league one(last 3 transfer windows) has been lacking.  Harrison did a job last season and it could be argued injuries didn't help but it's arguably the most important area of the team(goals win games) that seems to be the achilles heal in Flitcroft's department.

When the owner has a wage limit on strikers that he has to work within what is he supposed to do? It should be noted that the wage limit is a lot lower than most other teams in this league.

Talking the talk and walking the walk are two different things.  AC talks often about being more "clinical" and "shutting out the opposition" but the evidence tells us that this just isn't happening! It appears that every time we take the lead, we become content with trying to hold on instead of building on that lead. How many times have we scored more than one goal per game?

Come on AC, get a grip. Stop all the "talk" let's have the "walk"!

We signed 2 strikers. Wilson and Thomas

Wilson, let’s be honest was just a desperate last minute re-signing and Thomas is a mere short term loan after we had the whole pre season with just Wilson and Harrison. In fact, the only striker who had a pre season of reasonable full involvement was Harrison, who we sold.

In hindsight, the sale of Harrison probably wasn't the cleverest of moves!

Yet to have a 2 goal cushion all season long. Simply have to put games to bed.

Lets go through our goalscorers this season not including pizza trophy .

Cass 0

Smith 0

Lowe 0

Icavetti 1

Debrah 0

Plant 0

Grant 0

Uche 0

Loft 0

Garrity 5

Ojo 2

Devine 3

Arblaster 1

Wilson 2

Chislett 4

Thomas 2

So in 16 league games 4 league cup ties and 1 fa Cup game we have scored if my calculations are right 19 goals with Garrity top scorer .

We need a uplift in  finishing for sure .

Too many 0s for my liking need to show more desire get off the mark and more purpose .

I see teams exploiting teams from set pieces .

Chislett has shown he can deliver quality the ball in for Wilson v Charlton I want it mirrored time  and time again .

Time to start scoring Vale movement in penalty area the key

Jesus Christ - how <ovf censored> are we as fans.  We've not got 11 in the treatment room and once again we're having votes on getting rid of the manager.  After a great performance against Mansfield, a good performance with our kids at Wrexham and a great first half at Lincoln dispite terrible options with fit players.  Feck me!

How about spending your energies by getting behind the team.

Here we go again...

Let's use statistics to paint the picture you want.

Let's not point out we have owners who want the very best for the club (Let's go back to protest and marching days every home game instead)

Let's not mention the £10M of investment in improving club infrastructure.

Let's not mention the very real success of our Academy.

Let's not mention winning promotion and signing players that play football to the best standard since Rudge.

Let's not mention a current injury list that has stopped us picking the team that got us to the top of the league.

Let's not mention reaching quarter final of the league Cup, because we won games to get there.

Let's just fall for the lies and empty promises of arsehole potential owners who promise you a striker whilst stripping the club of its assets.

Yes its frustrating to concede in injury time.

Yes we are only as good as the last game. But does votes like this, at this time, actually do anything POSITIVE for the club.

How does encouraging those with zero patience and zero foresight actually HELP the club progress?

We have a clearly stated plan at the club after years of lurching from one <ovf censored> owner to another that almost saw the club out of the football league and out of existence.

Just reflect on that !!

Perfect reply.  And lets not mention some of our "fans" being <ovf censored> <ovf censored>

Its just a message board Osh.

Forget about the current injury crises & suspensions because every teams got them.

Lets just remember that we have not won a league game since the 16th September when we beat Northampton.  That is little bit pathetic to be fair
