New Puma kit

I had heard the same a few months ago but only on the grapevine so unsure how true it is but should be decent, they do Man City for instance so hopefully the general quality will be good.

Only worry with it is they are usually templated so not as bespoke, all be it they do print patterns like Plymouth's at the weekend and away kit.

Spoke to one of the volunteer workers who was there yesterday, he said he was given a couple of training tops and that was then he was told about the Puma deal..

It'd be a shame as we have such a good relationship with Errea that their director of art does bespoke kits for us

However I wouldn't be surprised if it's true on the basis of QA problems. I know a lot of people have had problems with sponsor logos peeling very quickly.

Yeah a real shame as the designs and even the training and warm up gear is very nice, the bespoke warm up tops and jackets for instance are bespoke as well, as you say though a few issues with the logos.

I'll buy one in any case. Want me to buy two it has to be of good quality. If the away kit is pink or indeed the home kit forget it!

I don’t think you need worry about the home kit ever being pink. 👍🏻

I wish we would go back to alternating home/away kit changes bianually . I have only purchased one in the last 5 years as it is out of date before you blink.

They are out of date but I use them on my running machine. I'm not sure what I'd do with them otherwise.

Puma do make good quality kit, but as others have said, it will be dull templated stuff. Always liked Errea. You won’t be getting a design classic like our current away shirt for example..

The n on Autonet started peeling on my training coat thing so I peeled all the letters off. It just says home insurance, on the back now. Can't have peeling.

Marseille have got a town printed on their puma kit so I'm sure we can get something bespoke.

It is but I wonder if it's simple economics? I may be wrong on this but don't kit firms pay a "licence fee" to a club to become their kit provider. In these cash-strapped times, I would imagine Vale could just be going for the manufacturer who pays the most money.

Maybe after last years kit launch and the Robbie designed kit prior both had alot of attention due to Robbie maybe Puma have come in offering more than Errea.
