Match Thread: Lincoln City v Port Vale

Would like to see the video of the incident that was used as evidence. Assume it would have been one of our media teams cameras. Tom looks to have a bruise on his cheek. I thought he looked guilty at the time but the fact that it has been rescinded would indicate that he shouldn't have been sent off as there must have been sufficient evidence to prove that a red was wrong. Would love to know what the ref thought he had seen.
I thought it was the 90 year old linesman who spotted 'the incident'?

There we go, reading between the line you could tell at the end of the game in DCs interview that they didn’t have a clue what it was for and that they’d appeal it. Trouble is it’s too late now and officials aren’t accountable.

Iv been calling him Tom Colon all weekend - I take it back

This is an absolute disgrace. For me House should have gone for them even before he scores and wasn’t he the one allegedly invovled with Conlon? That officiating team all had a massive discussion before the sending off as well. There should be some proper sanction against them.

The bruise is probably from the Oxford incident!

I agree. Absolutely disgusting that. That decision turned the whole game on its head, and probably cost a man his job and the club a place in L1. But no doubt these two jokers will still be running around a professional football field next week 😡😡😡😡

I agree re Charlton being our most likely source of points. There’s no chance we’ll get them against Plymouth unless they completely screw things up and rest people for the PO’s. As you say, Brizzle likely to be another Accie-type scrap which we just don’t have the physicality / backbone for, and there’s more chance of me picking the winning lottery numbers than getting anything at Ipswich. I know nothing about Charlton at the moment, and they looked a really non-descript side when we played them at home, other than that Sessignon.

Don't know if you've seen the latest form table but we are bottom and Charlton 9th despite their six nil thrashing at Ipswich.

Charlton will not be an easy ride by any stretch of the imagination.
