Must say the improvements are fantastic.
We will only move forwards under the guidance of Carol Kevin and the team .
The hamil end change needs come quicker than next season for me though sat in front of paddock yesterday was near the new black boardings nothing like the hamil experience to me the noise just doesn't travel but other than that pleased with all the ground improvements.
More than 8109 there aswell I'd say 9500 .

PA was crystal clear in the Bycars too, so well done to the club for this.  Not so good though the new fences, which, after speaking to a few friends with young families, are apparently now too tall for kids on the front row to see over without standing up.  I assume the fences have to be that high to meet whatever legislation is in place, but those front row seats are now going to be off limits for some fans, the two families I spoke to are going to move back a few rows for the next home game.
The new barriers need to be that high so they comply to the new regulations apparently I asked yesterday

There's definitely a welcome element of planning and logic to the work.

I would suspect next summer will see a concentration on the Lorne St as by then the gym will have moved into the new training complex and the family section can be completed.

I suspect they may look at the scoreboard next summer too. I really hope two screens for the Lorne/Hamil corner and old Family stand are considered - it uses otherwise empty space and allows everyone to see a screen.

We have some big away followings coming up.

For those considering encroaching pitchside remember the club is currently facing a penalty for last season against Swindon and any excuse you give the FA to issue Vale with a points deduction will be on your head.

Simples!

The rules are there to be followed, the pitch is a no go. But there is/was a general acceptance that last game celebrations were permissible. Mostly they go off smoothly but Swindon did not.  No doubt in our big games this season there will be enough stewards and police in attendance, but at cost to the club.

There's a few of us considering going on the pitch, but with people away on holiday it's difficult to get everyone together to talk it through. We'll probably decide closer to the time.

I guessed as much.  Too high in the Bycars according to a couple of friends.  First row of seats in the Paddock are up a step from the pitch side gangway, so not an issue there.  Interesting to note that the Hamil still has the concrete barrier, no idea whether that’ll change when we swap ends.

No side exits at the Hamil, exits are at the rear so no need to move the barriers?

Rear exits in Bycars and Lorne Street too.  It’s purely about getting a large number of future concert goers on/off the pitch so I guess all the existing fences could be replaced in the future.

Yes, but only Lorne St and Hamil have no side exits, Railway was the worse side exit so was done , the rest would be for concert purposes and not so urgent. All in good time, priority is to take off the capacity limitations.
