Remember the sick to the pit of your stomach feeling of today.

 

Remember those who have put our club in this position. Remember those individuals who will take pleasure in our pain at the moment.

 

Remember that feeling of determination and sheer ****** mindedness you have right now to make sure that we have the last laugh.

 

Above all remember one thing:

 

Port Vale is OUR club. The time has come to stand as one and to fight for OUR club like we have never had to before. Never forget it and remember.....

Well said and sums up many feelings tonight.I can also add the sick feeling when we had to apply for re-election after the Mathew's fiasco in the late 60's.Vale will hopefully pull through this mess and then we must all pull together and help Micky (hopefully) and a new board lead us to success.

Written with genuine passion. My deepest and most lasting memory is of the day we won promotion after beating Bristol Rovers and embracing with a guy who I didn't even know very well and he was crying tears of joy.

Three months later before our first game in the then Div 2 I asked where he was and I was told that he had died of a heart attack and I'm not ashamed to say that I shed a tear for him. You can't pretend real passion.

The pride at Tottenham a few years back (im only 26!) just the feeling and mental when Leon scored and we scared the hell out of a side with England players, Edgar Davids a legendary player, Berbatov etc, the atmosphere that night and the pride bubbling close to tears when I read the papers the next day praising us, Goodlad and Abbey were immense that night as were most to be fair!

 

Took a fluke goal to break us...

 

We are called the Valiants for a reason, time to show why thats our nickname!

 

Valiants will never die!

I'm happy to admit I shed a tear when we walked out at Wembley.

 

93. I felt the same and I really thought we were on our way somewhere then, 25000 Vale fans at Wembley.

 

We can get back there, we're a city club and a successful Vale side will always be able to pull a bigger gate than town clubs such as, say, Shrewsbury, who are a relatively well supported town club but who will never have the catchment population we do, even with the Lardies on our doorstep.

 

Aldershot and Wimbledon have rebuilt their clubs from nothing and hopefully we won't be as badly off as them so our rebirth is certainly achievable.
