Glasgow Rangers Champions again

Recommended Posts

Living in Scotland for a few years and having friends and family who are rangers fans this one is close to home for me.

A phenomenal run and job by Steven Gerrard who will no doubt be the liverpool manager one day I'm sure.

Lost one game all season and only conceded two goals at home.

Well done the Gers !

Fantastic achievement to win it with so much of the season left. Completely dominant.

Chuffed for Gerrard (possible future England manager? - although absolutely nailed on for Liverpool next whenever Klopp leaves Anfield).

Great to see Gers on top again - wonder if the other lot will provide them with a 'guard of honour' when they meet in the next game in a couple of weeks?! (....noticed that Chris Sutton and Roy Keane were squirming in their response to Rangers' triumph!)

Not taking anything away from the achievements and I don't follow Scottish football, but it's just a two horse race year in year out isn't it .

Not sure that gives him a shot at the England job.

Can't knock the manner it's a comprehensive smashing of the league but the standard is woeful.

......as opposed to Gareth Southgate, who had really done enough to deserve the top job?! 🤔

Irrelevant for now anyway, as Gerrard will want (have) a good few years as Liverpool boss before there is any serious possibility of being England manager.

Pretty much. Scottish football desperately needs investment for the other teams who can't take the next step up like Aberdeen and Hibs

His record in europa league is a fantastic record as well. In two years they've beaten Feyenoord,Porto , Braga , galatasaray and drawn with Benfica twice.

I have no doubt he will be the liverpool manager in years to come. Hopefully it's not the same story as the lampard one

Well you have to consider just how much better Celtic were when he took over Rangers. He's also done superb with them in Europe, often beating better sides, at least on paper.

Klopp deserves another season at Liverpool in hopefully more normal circumstances, that goes without saying. But either way it won't be too long before Gerrard is in the hot seat at Anfield. Klopp looks burnt out, as do the vast majority of Liverpool players.

Sam Foley Devante Cole and Christian Doidge all play in this league as regulars.

Bar Rangers and after their demise to a certain extent Celtic the standard is dreadful.

A lot of ex league one and two players ply their trade up there

Don't Forget about Jason "I'm gonna snap him" Talbot

That man loved a red card

Who gives a monkey's about Scottish football? Up there with Icelandic crown green bowls! Irrelevant gubbins.

It's called other football issues for a reason...  not sure if you've noticed but there's topics about all football clubs and leagues. No one is asking you to comment on it

There's also sections about other sports that you probably don't  give a monkeys about that you can also comment on.

I also find it ironic that you're comparing leagues considering we are playing in the basement league of England and one step closer to the dog and duck league. I'm sure people say the same when they look at us

Didn't the forum title give you a clue?  Other football issues?  I give a monkeys about Scottish football ... I give a monkeys about any footy!  Love it... doesn't matter who's playing. Obviously they're all below my club... The mighty Vale 😉
