He was pants the first time he joined us.

First time round he was genuinely one of the worst ‘footballers’ I’d seen at vale.

Second time round he comes out with ‘you’ll see the real robinson’. Yeah same as last time Theo. Absalute dog <ovf censored>. Useless player

The Vale players have a Christmas party on their mind 🍺 🤪 🤪

Most of them should have a P45 on their minds instead.

Not one leader out there tonight trying push the lads on. Wheres the fight?

Going down with a whimper. That early challenge on Clark set the tone. Stevenage have wanted it more.

Not a single player has played above 2/10 and that says it all

I said a few games back a bad run was on it's way because our performances have been getting worse and the players clearly aren't bothered about John Askey. It's clear as day unless you're an absolute simpleton. Even in most of the games we've actually won this season, performance were iffy. I'll hold my hands up and say before the season got underway I may have over-rated our squad, but it still should be far better than this shower that's making us look like a joke every week now.

Heres a first TB

I understand what you are saying. The players do not make a good team. We did not strengthen, again, last transfer window. We still have 11 from the very good, excellent, some said, squad. It was not a good squad to start with. He went for two players for every position i think instead of some quality signings to add to last seasons team.

Askey has a lot to answer for but for me the players have their chance tonight and the performance is poor.

Yes we are several players missing and most would be in the first 11 but that says a lot for this shower tonight.

Have now switched off from Ifollow. Cannot watch any abject display of so called professionals. I dont know what the answer is, but imo it definitely is not Mr A.

70 minutes in and ive turned it off. Painful

I'll be spending my tenner on the club shop instead of watching that garbage.

Yes, their manager told them we were there for the taking and they believed him. What did Askey tell our lot?

And it’s totally put him out of the game because he hasn’t looked up for it, he’s playing safe square balls like a player who doesn’t want to try anything. These want it more all over the pitch.

Before tonight Stevenage had won 4 of their last 49 league fixtures.

It's football, rightly or wrongly, and sometimes it is unfair, the manager has to be the one to bite the bullet. Some of our players should be ashamed of their performance over the last month or so, that goes without saying. But it's not just the results. Our performances have generally been appalling, and the responsibility for that is down to the manager. I think Askey is someone who can steady a League Two club that's in dire straights, as he did to his credit for us last season, but that's his ceiling.

That bilious green kit can go to the incinerator as well as far as I'm concerned

Askey said the same and our team believed him also

Askey's been a good servant for us and steered us through some choppy waters in his time, but I do think it's time he went.

Shambolic. These were relegated last season as well until the macc debacle.

Disgusting performance this
