What makes tonight even worse is that Stevenage are genuinely a poor, poor side. They showed fight so credit to them for that, but we were absolutely pathetic. That was as bad as anything under the dark days of Neil Aspin.

Five straight defeats, hardly ever shooting, let alone scoring. Out of the cup to Kings Lynn. Tonight hammered by the worst team in England. 

Askey is reminding me of Aspin now, stubbornly sticking to one up front when it's clearly not working. Change it Askey or the fans will turn against you. I'm losing patience with this ineffective one up front formation.

Same here. We just look 5hite. Nothing up front. midfield woeful ( although I thought Manny was ok tonight).. Burgess awful didn't do zilch. Mckirdy awful didn't do zilch. Clarke isn't the same player at this moment of time. Robinson did zilch. Absolute tripe all round.

This is painful. I don't know whether it was the extended break or the not being able to go but in conjunction with these performances I think I'm not really caring anymore. When this happens after 31 years of support I think it's time for me ( and Askey ) to walk. See you everybody and I hope you all get to see far more success than we've had to suffer for too many seasons now

Are the players trying anymore seems a common question now.  They used to run themselves into the ground at the start of the season.  Now they don't seem too bothered now.

You wonder if they are fed up with playing "Plan A" tactics.

 

Tonight McKirdy had his chance to force his way into the first 11.  Did he take it - no.

Robinson also had his chance, but was not given the service to score.  Shows he also needs help up front like Cullen.
