Terrible day, 2 awful Saturdays on the trot. Thank god for drink.

Clark should have carried the ball and kept going instead of launching it to the half way line.

He just gave possession back to them they launch it into our area and score.

So avoidable.

Tranmere might be a decent team but they scored all their goals against 10 men. The ref was horrendous. Two of their goals may as well have been scored by him.

We never seem to score against 10 men [emoji53]

Couldn't really see there penalty, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but I make it 4 clear massive errors from the ref that completely altered the game.

Joyce's tackle was stupid but it was a yellow, there was a clear foul on Pope in the build up to there first. They had one disallowed for absolutely no reason as far as I could see and the 6 mins of added time coming from nowhere.

He should never be allowed to officiate a league game again.

Absolutely gutted.

shocking ref. Dubious pen for us

didnt give the foul on pope

not a straight red card

not a pen for them

never 6 mins stoppage time

Well and truly mugged off by the ref, ide even take Trevor Kettle over that <ovf censored>.

Brilliant game spoiled by the result. I think we are looking like a good team despite the defeat. UTV!

Absolutely Fuming at this.

Obviously there are massive faults today and mistakes vale should have prevented but I just can't get over how bad that ref was

Oh my god Carl on P&G says the manager is too blame.. what a @$%^

Carl is a complete and utter bell end end of.

With regards to the 10 men thing.

At 2-0 up you still win the game surely.

We were 1-0 down at Northampton with 10 men and won. Going down to 10 men isn't an acceptance of automatically losing a 2 goal lead.

Of course it didn't help and contributed massively but we ought to of seen it out.

The referee was truly appalling for both sides, a disgrace of a performance

Well tin hat time[emoji848]Prepare for all the doom and gloom mrechants to come out of their shells now!See you all in May as sick of you all[emoji113][emoji113][emoji113]

Joyce was stupid in a nothing position on the pitch. It was either a bad yellow or a slightly soft red, so can't really blame the ref for that.

Bottom line remains if Joyce hadn't given the ref a decision to make in an area on pitch where there was no danger we would have closed the game out comfortably. As soon as I saw it I thought there was a good chance of a red.

Agree. Reminiscent of when Morsy got sent off when we were 2-0 up v Rochdale and ended up drawing 2-2 (after which Adams called Morsy a "coward" and hardly ever played him again - not that I'm saying the same should happen with Joyce).

It did highlight that Joyce is too slow though IMO.

Come on Carol put us out of our misery Uber for Askey ASAP !!!!!!
