FT 1-3. Well done, Arthur and the lads. Brilliant second half performance and eight minute hat trick by the Pontiff but what on earth did Arthur put in their tea at half time? Genius, whatever it was!

The momentum seemed to be changing in the last ca 5 mins of the 1st half, Sounded like Vale had a couple of decent chances, JA has obviously  played his part, hope he can bottle whatever he did.

Just great performance by Vale and well done Tom Pope. Magnifique.

Brisley on for Colon, Arthur is shoring it up at the back. Just a few minutes now.

PS FT Stoke are done 🙂

Colon and shoring it up at the back.Poor bloke.

At 61 years of age I cannot believe the buzz I've got from that today! At half time I'm thinking 2-0 Cheltenham.....work hard towards the play offs etc etc but then what a second half. I haven't seen the goals or highlights yet but what can you say about Popey? I've had my doubts this season but give him the right service and he'll score against anybody in this league. I just hope now Monday isn't a let down and for once we get a money spinner, home or away and a TV game. Carol and Kevin and the whole squad including JA deserve a day in the sun for what they have done for us so far........SVA!

Excellent post. I’m 65 and I’m walking on air at the moment . Man Utd away please.

Talk about a fan I of two halves, it seemed like we were playing with 9 men first half.
Pope was isolated with 2 defenders on him and our passing was woeful.
Definitely a penalty from my view but they didn't capitalise and Vale finished the first half quite strongly.
I was surprised to see no changes at half time but Vale pushed up a good 10/15 yards and they just couldn't cope.
A complete turnaround and although we scored 3 quick goals there was plenty of time to go. Good game management and a couple of good saves from Mr Reliable and there we have it.
A good following who were treated to a really good 45 minutes.
SVA [emoji6]

So far we’ve had two awful draws away at teams you wouldn’t have thought we could’ve won. It’s about time we had some luck now as we’ve earned it.

Man Utd or Liverpool please away. And make some money for a decent transfer pot and reward the new owners and long suffering fans with a great day out.

Bone idle Barnett playing for Eastleigh.

I’d probably give up my left nad to get Stoke at home in the next round.
probably.

Tom Pope, you Sir are a legend.

First half Amoo and Browne never went past their full backs but just kept playing the ball square or backwards. Second half they ran at their full backs and provided great crosses for Popey’s first two goals. Magic stuff.

The Pope critics are very quiet tonight. You know who you are.

Brilliant stuff from the Sneyd Green sniper.

Delighted for everyone at the Club.

We've suffered a lot for the past three years with little light at the end of the tunnel.

But Carol and Kevin and John and Tom and the rest have put a smile back on our faces. It's been a very long time coming but that only makes it all the sweeter.

I think I'll have another one.....

Where is the first place we’ll be able to see the goals? I lose track these days!

Well worth the effort and journey then Eddie!

I'm unsure. It might be the BBC football site.

Pope utterly unconvincing. Mouthing off, panting around looking fat and unfit. Like the footballing equivalent of Elvis’ last days.
Monty is getting murdered. However they are playing a lot down that side and he is getting overwhelmed.
We can still win this but serious tactical changes needed.

DOH !!!!

Not really! Absolutely delighted to be proven wrong. It was an awful first half effort as anyone who witnessed it would agree.

However the 2nd half was truly outstanding.
