He hasn't tried to build the wall yet.

Some new wall has been built, the funding to build the rest has been blocked by politicians/people who wish to turn the USA into the mess that is California, people who voted for a wall under Obama's presidency and people who wish to ensure a constant influx of Democratic voters.

Will the wall really prevent migrants? Will they not just get in a boat and paddle round the end of it?!

That wasn't your point. He lost the popular vote. He is President because the US like the UK has an antiquated electoral system. I thought you were a huge advocate of the side that gets the most votes wins??

He's probably a huge advocate of not changing the rules after the game has finished because your team lost.

The left in this country are like the Cameroonian women's national team. Simply don't understand the rules or don't want to understand the rules.

Or underneath it but something has to be done to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, the numbers quoted are huge the authorities just can't cope with the influx.

They'll all be stamping their feet up and down, throwing milkshakes and taking their ball home because they didn't get the result they wanted.

Oh,and claim the contest is racist.

I'm sure most people have seen it now but this quote from Bojo the Clown back in 2013 goes along way to explaining yesterday's bizarre 'painting buses' routine.

Let us suppose you are losing an argument. The facts are overwhelmingly against you, and the more people focus on the reality the worse it is for you and your case.

Your best bet in these circumstances is to perform a manoeuvre that a great campaigner describes as 'throwing a dead cat on the table, mate'.

That is because there is one thing that is absolutely certain about throwing a dead cat on the dining room table – and I don’t mean that people will be outraged, alarmed, disgusted.

That is true, but irrelevant. The key point, says my Australian friend, is that everyone will shout 'Jeez, mate, there’s a dead cat on the table!'; in other words they will be talking about the dead cat, the thing you want them to talk about, and they will not be talking about the issue that has been causing you so much grief.

Brexiteers challenging the result of an election? Who'd have thought it?

Well you've got to admit,it was a bit dodgy?

Out of the 33,998 ballot papers counted, 9,898 were postal votes, with approximately 400 of these being rejected because of discrepancies in details including signatures and dates of births not matching the council records. Cambridgeshire Police subsequently confirmed that it was investigating five allegations of electoral irregularities, three of which related to postal votes, with one allegation of bribery and corruption and another involving a breach of the privacy of the vote.

We don't want another Tower Hamlet's do we?
