So let we get this right running Port Vale is costing our Chairman approx a million pounds a year and is a massive drain on his finances(his own words). After selling Port Vale and removing the drain on his resources he is looking to jump back into the fire and buy another football club. Either Smurf is crazy , probably not as in his own words he is after all a successful businessman or he really is making money out of football. As appealing as the crazy option sounds my money is on the latter.

Good to see that he is absolutely hated everywhere. Only brought this on himself though. Feel so sorry for Notts County BUT hey ho if Vale can at last see his backside disappearing down Hamil Road then we will survive and steadily grow back into the Club Valiants deserve.

Whilst it is good to see that outsiders see The Blue One as we do, is that really good news for us ?

 

He obviously cannot own two clubs, but if he fails to agree a deal to buy Notts, does that then scupper his potential sale of Vale ?

 

If he cannot buy the Meadow Lane stadium, I fail to see why he would still buy the club. All he wants is property, but if none is included in the sale I doubt he would touch it with a barge pole.

 

I suspect that his sale of Vale would depend on him finding another football “cash cow”. If the alleged Notts deal fell through, I fear we may still be stuck with him.

 

Hopefully I’m wrong.
