Yes Grimsby mate told me on 5th Dec, sorry not clever enough to start a thread. I said I thought he was doing well at Grimsby. He said he was but started to look disinterested and the manager lost patience with him. Sounds familiar. Obviously not clever enough to learn. Oh well onwards and downwards.

 

 

 

I think with JJ it is all about attitude not ability. A little like Chris Regis really.

Found his level just like the other useless player Williamson....

 

Williamson bagged 9 goals as 4th choice striker during our promotion year, not having this slander of the nicest Port Vale player of all time. A truly lovely young man. Can't be comparing him to JJ.

Sorry mate, nicest doesnt cut it with me. He may well of scored 9 goals but in a ratio to the chances he had well, useless springs to mind!!

 

I'd put Danny N'Guessan, Theo Robinson, Martin Paterson and Cecilia way ahead of him in the 'useless' category. They barely scored 9 between them!

Theo Robinson has scored 10 goals in League One since he left us, we could do with a useless striker like that now....

10 in all competitions, 7 in the league. In almost two years at Southend.

2 league goals in 2016/17

5 in 2017/18

0 so far in 2018/19

Cecilia wasn't given enough chance, being sub most of the time, and he was something of a character liked by the crowd. I think he could have been successful at our current level.
