This game is everything to them. Finishing above Vale is their season to season ambition.

 

They're a bit of a bogie side in recent years like we were to Stoke. Sadly, my gut feeling is that this won't change Saturday. Going for a point but where Vale dominate and concede late again.

Crewe always raise their game for us. For weeks before, you watch them throwing leads away, conceding soft goals, defensive woes then when they play us they look like a top 6 side!

Pretty much my thoughts u just know they will have us chasing shadows on the day so I'm not confident in our chances at all but u never know.

To be fair, some people on this thread, is saying the same thing... That if we try to play football on the ground, we will loose as they are much better at it than us.

A no mark club with awful skeletons in the cupboard and no signs of taking responsibility. I’ve never thought of it as a local derby, we share a substandard radio station, not a county or city.

I hope we win as per any game but it’s of no more importance than any other game. Morally and historically they’re beneath us and should disappear into the abyss.

If they move the ball around like they can then we will struggle cope with them, we need to make it as physical as possible and try bully them off their game

It’s a game where a ball winner like Oyeleke will be key, if he can get in amongst them and stop them playing with the three influential forward plays in Miller, Pope and Whitfield we can cause problems.

 

Would love to shut Artell up, arrogant in every interview and always sounds as though he’s chewing a sandwich when he’s talking on the radio.

 

It’s winnable and if we play as we have been the last two or three games with the improvement we should be able to get something from the game.
