Myself and Hagrid , amongst others, started threads about where the real problem lies. I wouldn’t call that “ not speaking out”. The problem is with the owner, and it’s because of his ego and arrogance that we find ourselves 3rd from bottom of the league. That’s the truth of the matter.

These last few years in all things Port Vale have been enough to test the nerves of Saints: V2001; the infamous 'busgate' incident; the transfer embargo for failing to pay a bill; MOLD;, Administration; and so on. The scars are all there.

 

Yet here we are yet again fighting for our 'League survival.

 

As the dark humour saying goes..."what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

Aspins job this season is to just keep us up. If we manage to finish third of bottom with this absolute shower then so be it. i have no faith in Norman to provide a competitive budget for next season and again we will only end up with non league players, loans or more crocks.

Spot on. You say we have given up. I think you are right. Can only speak for myself but I just feel pure apathy and resignation. Can't muster any effort or fight , actually attending is becoming an ordeal. I sit in the Bycars, I am a fan of 46 years since my dad took me. My own son is 20 and if Vale were playing away on the moon he would want to go.

Today for the first time ever he said it makes you wonder what's the point as all we do is shake and shiver every week.

That said we will both be at Barnet next week but OUR club is dying on it's feet

 

Beer. Lots of beer. That's the point. For me at least. Football is second to the pub. Fortunately, PVFC is one of the best located football clubs in England if you like beer!

Only protest that will work, unfortunately, is boycotting buying a season ticket. Other than that, nothing else will work. Oystons at Blackpool being a good example of that idea.
