I reckon the 'disciplinarian' taking charge of training this week used to work at Tammy's on Moorland Road. Personal friend of Norm's and has a track record of doing him favours.

Seriously, I'd be very, very surprised if Ainsworth ended up at the Vale. I think it would take a big offer and have to be backed up with some cast iron assurances as to how things were run and playing budget, etc. so he was confident of success.

What about Richard Money? Or Dicky Dosh as he was affectionately known at Walsall. Always gone under the radar for me but if you look him up on wiki he has a few promotions under his belt and has lots of experience.

Phil Taylor said on the darts last night that he had been made an offer earlier in the day which he was going to take up! Maybe completely wrong but jokingly when he said it I made the comment that he's going to be our next manager. I did say it jokingly!

I was living in it he area at the time of his appointment at Walsall. It was met with a resounding "Who"? But he did ok there
