It will be one of Morgan or Kelly if they stay or Pope and Yates because they've run a Sunday league team!

That's not a knock on Pope and Yates. It's just reality. I'm sure they are both quietly fuming at the state of the club.

If not, I'd be concerned why not.

Smurf will opt for Adam Yates, knows the players, doesn't need to relocate and won't cost a packet. Plus it saves Smurf coming to Vale park to do interviews.

He hasn't fired any manager yet, though page was " helped" to resign. Adams and Bruno both resigned.

Adams quit, Page went to Northampton and wasn't sacked before. Bruno quit but he may have quit before being pushed.

 

The next manager will either be Morgan/Kelly or a Pope & Yates joint management. As Spunkers says, anyone hoping for a big name manager or someone with vast experience is deluding themselves.

Even if the club is unstable it is still an attractive job football managers no longevity is short the club runs better with an experienced man at the helm for me I would get in Steve Cotterill

Look at the names he's appointed and the names who have been interviewed or approached for the job, like Stephen Constantine.

Naive is accepting those managers in the first place- Page, Bruno, Brown, Foyle, Glover, Grew etc... Vale fans like you guys who now stand here like you are 'the awoken' are the same lot who backed most of the above.

 

Di Canio has no job and could be interested, Coleman is within our budget easily. It's whether the owner will spend the money. It's up to us convince him it's worth it

Wycombe have got better players, they've got a fully fit / reconised striker in there squad.

I'd go as far as persuading ainsworth not to be manager for vale, as id be doing him a favour tbh.

Do you not think have gone following a chat? Jesus most managers go after a 'chat' with the clubs board. It's how they get compo and leave with being sacked on their record.

 

I expect a manager with some experience as the next chapter, I'd be shocked if we don't see that. The very bought from you lot that Morgan/ Kelly or Pope and Yates shows why smurf and previous owners have got away with poor appointments....because small thinking fans moan but accept it.
