Out of who's left that we recruited in the summer, though there's a possibility I left someone out!

 

Knops - Steady player that is a decent squad player if not guaranteed first-team regular. I think he's done quite well playing at left-back and have no problem with him remaining part of our club.

 

Ferguson - Seen next to nothing of him and was a bit of a "Err, why?!" signing.

 

Amoros - A little battler that might be limited on quality but akways gives his all. Still young and raw and should improve with the right coaching. Very much a part of our squad going forward for me.

 

De Freitas - I think technically he's a better player than Amoros, and also doesn't lack in desire and commitment. I've been quietly impressed by him in the main and think he could be good enough to replace Grant personally.

 

Mbamba - Doesn't look ready for this level of football and at 24/25 years of age isn't exactly young. Simply not good enough.

 

Shalaj - I had somewhat high hopes for him but he simply hasn't produced. Doesn't look fit enough for League One football even if he has the ability, which is debatable as we've seen so little of him.

 

Cicila - He's a bit like a Revel in that you never know what you're going to get from him, but he's stuck at it and got a few goals of late and I don't think teams enjoy playing against him. I can definitely see him being an asset for the club going forward.

 

Forrester - What little we've seen of him he has everything you need as a forward in the lower leagues to be an absolute handful when match fit. He simply needs a bit of luck and a run of games.

2 more 'I know better than you lot and I know first' posts from the great orifice. If anyone actually is leaking info from Vale to someone like you, which I doubt as you are often wrong, then they should be sacked by your 'chum'.

I'm happy to let Brown make these decisions. He has coached them and played with them.

All three have shown a bit of potential - De Freitas looks the pick - but they haven't played very much. And none of them have looked like scoring.

 

A lot on here wax lyrical about Amoros as if he's the next Dave Mackay but I haven't seen that much potential in him yet.

 

It would not surprise me if they went back to La France, although I wonder if it's largely a question of fitness because they are ok technically.
