It has nothing to do with agents. It was Alex Jones' choice and we can't really blame him for that.

He had a choice between:

 

A big fish in a small pond, gates of 17,000+ and a team pushing for promotion

 

vs

 

A historically smaller club, gates of 4,500 and a team with no permanent manager in a relegation battle

 

I don't blame him at all. Let's move on and forget him.

Because he would have known that it would be best for him to keep his options open, especially with the rate of goals he was getting, if he bided his time there was always the chance of someone bigger coming in.

I know we lack goals but the kid hit 7 from open play and 3 pens. Remmie Streete nearly got as many goals as him. But agreed better team with him in. Hope he keeps the BCFC bench nice and warm cause he isn't seeing 1st team football this season again.

What rubbish on here,Smurf agreed a fee with brum but the players agent wanted more as in a bigger cut for himself so he started an auction and Bradford bit.It remains to be seen if the deal benefits the player but it's certainly benefitted the agent,these easy money parasites will eventually kill lower league football as they belong in the rarefied atmosphere of the premiership,clubs in the lower leagues can't afford to give money away but in bradfords case chasing automatic promotion they will speculate to accumulate and promotion will make it all worth while and the easy money parasites continue to live off the backs of others.
