Massive game this now , anything less then a win against a side bottom of the league is not good enough and for me will determine Bruno's fate

I've been every league match this season, but not bothering with this one. No longer prepared to waste the time and money required to watch us make no attempt to win a game until its to late.

If 2 or 300 turned up without tickets they'd get in, shrews wouldn't turn that sort of money away and the cops wouldn't want that many vale Fans roaming round Shrewsbury.

So poor at the moment and so many key players (in fairness to Bruno this point seems to have been missed, how many teams at our level could cope with missing 6 of their best XI?) out I would be surprised if we got a result (especially after last night!)

 

Need to start the team that finished last night really as our best hope.

We do have key players out, but it's up to the management to sign adequate replacements in the squad. If Foley is out, how many other energetic box-to-box players do we have? None. If Thomas is out, do we have any other creative wingers? Nope.

 

Surely Bruno can see Tavares and Paterson offer nothing right now, we all can! Blackpool got relegated to L2 and didn't want Paterson so how has he ended up here?! Nothing against him as he does try but he doesn't suit our system and isn't up to L1 standard.

If he starts with Tavares and Patto on Saturday I can really see us getting nothing from the game maybe a point. We can't go to the team who are bottom of the league with one up front so use your common sense Bruno and play two up top. It's clear to see that Regie has a bit of confidence about him atm so surely he has to start. I feel that if we play with this team from the start we can scrape a win. 2-1 Vale, Regie and Jones to score!

Agree but would any league one side easily cope with the loss of so many key players... sides on our budget cant afford 22 high quality players... that side we should at least have 16 or 17 which we don't!
