New Party leaders

One of the many problems with Jeremy Corbyn is the fact that he seemingly cannot hold 2 thoughts together for more than a few hours at a time--if anyone doubts this, just read his various interviews yesterday on immigration and salary issues that flip-flopped even when spoken only hours between each outpouring. Far from being the principled, free-thinking new alternative that some trumpeted him to be, he is clearly a totally muddled, stuck-in-the 70's, backward looking politician and ineffective, incompetent leader. Apart from these 'minor' issues, he is obviously a wonderful, warm and suitable leader of HM's opposition!

Interesting the latest re Trump....apart from making himself again look like a big child if there is any truth in the stories then Russia has played a very good game...supporting him getting elected knowing they had info that could then at best destabilise his presidency and at worst bring him down.

Or it's all a load of horlix

it's CNN's job to question him so he should have let them.

CNN who havnt yet come to terms with there favoured candidate loosing the election so are doing there best to discredit the winner with false news and fiction stories I hope trump shuts em down and sends there staff to GITMO which was supposed to be shut by now according too oboma !

Yep that CNN; I'm no supporter of CNN, quite the opposite in fact

Let all the news/media agencies ask their questions whether it be CNN/BBC/Russia Today/Staffs Evening Sentinel/whoever...it's not the President's job (or indeed any politician) to decide who is allowed to ask questions (that's a very dangerous path to go down). That's why he should have let them ask their question, not cos it was CNN..who is asking the question is irrelevant.

The public will make their mind up on what they hear and the more they hear from diverse sources the better and the more likely fake news will be exposed as fake

Can anyone please interpret this gem from Jezza?

"Labour is not wedded to freedom of movement for EU citizens as a point of principle, but I don't want that to be misinterpreted, nor do we rule it out"

I do not take much notice of politician speak nowadays, as they don't usually say what they mean. My interpretation for what it is worth would be ...jobs are open to EU citizens but could be restricted in areas of local employment difficulty.

On Andrew Marr today at times I thought he was rather good but then he'd adopt this scatter gun approach where he'd suddenly throw in student loans and other issues around social justice having never mentioned them in the previous 15 mins and not been asked about them. Far too vague about immigration for me.

Marr's repeated question regarding things JC had said previously (and I paraphrase) "Do you still agree with yourself?" was quite funny.

But this is the problem, it's ok being a decent opposition leader. Is he fit to govern??
