Anyone think Page made massive mistake letting Neal go and playing Alnwick? He wad embarracing today along with the rest of them but surely Neal is a more reliable choice?

 

Neal makes one mistake and gets loaned out whereas Duffy and McGivern constantly make mistakes but virtually always get picked!

 

Thankfully we won't have to see RP's lovechild Duffy for two games now.

Good old Page as decisive as ever finally got round to making subsitutions when we went 3 nil down, finger on the pulse that guy....

 

Yep he did last week..make the right changes to bring us back from 2-0 down to win 3-2....it doesn't take long for yourself and bookworm etc to dig in again does it

It must have been someone else's fault that Duffy got booked, it surely couldn't be his fault, feel really sorry for Streete who has never been given a proper chance and since the Exeter game where everyone was awful he hasn't been seen since.

 

Up front we had no idea whatsoever and I never thought I would say it but I'd have Ben Williamson over Theo, a complete waste of a signing.

Alnwick was poor today, perhaps his worst performance for us as I usually think he's one of our better players.

Why do some people still mention the word promotion when you have Duffy and McGivern as a centre-back partnership and Dickinson at left-back? I don't think these three would have got in my school football team. I seriously couldn't see any of them being regulars for any other League One club.

 

We have a few pretty good players and are less cack than a number of other teams in this abysmal league fortunately. Burton are a real team and all credit to them, I hope they go up and they will. But it shows what a shocking league it is when they are running away with it.

Can't understand how anyone can be surprised. We've been consistently inconsistent all season and that's precisely why we are where we are in the league positions. How many of you clever hindsighters would have predicted pre-season that we would end up with a likely 60 points and a likely finishing position in the top half of the table?
