I think we need to swap it a little bit because of fitness. Purkiss has to come in for Yates, I've been wanting streete to play all season but mcgivern was very solid last night so should keep his place again. I can't believe I'm saying this but I would be tempted to start birchall over Moore, maybe use Moore as an impact sub for the last 30. However id also be very tempted to start Kelly as well after recent outings. I still think 352 would suit us with the quality we have in midfield. I'll be delighted if we can get a point here though.

I noticed Grant was doing stretching exercises in the second half and hope he is ok,Moore was limping too .Page could freshen up a couple of positions as one or two looked jaded v Blackpool. Purkiss must be considered as we lacked his pace too.

I'd quite like a repeat of a game that sticks in my memory from 6th November 1982, when Vale came back from 0-3 down to grab an exciting 3-3 draw, Jimmy Greenhoff sparked it, and the Sentinel printed its famous 'Heavy defeat for Port Vale' headline as their print deadline demanded a report and headline at about 4.30pm, I don't think they ever lived that down.

I hope Calvin Andrew has moved on from Rochdale too.

Always a tough game ,decent side they r the big unit up front is a good player Henderson.

But really not to concerned about them as we have a strike force who r playing with confidence and excellence.

He will probably go with the second team if Moore doesn't make it id go with the first team as Uche looked very strong and good on the highlights v Blackpool .

But Kelly and Birchall and Yates have given him a selection dilemma.

Personally I'd go with the players who will cause Rochdale problems but at the same time can do there defensive duties properly so by playing Uche he will be well he should be effective in both boxes in the air .
